Updates to the site
You can now see what we host on the [ https://connect.thirdculture.top ] page. Any current member is allowed full access to everything we host.
We have a forum, fediverse, IRC and voice chat. All DIY and free of corporate influence and control. I desire to make a solid foundation built towards the principals of this collective. So it is important I create different means of supporting community that don’t rely on the things that snuff it out.
We also have a much better built events page at [ https://events.thirdculture.top ] where people can contribute events.
Making moves to fully operationalize third culture soon. As this project becomes more and more an important and needed as I live my life out in Ottawa. I want something robust and forwards to our goal of building a tolerant, expressive and safe community, this is why it has been a slow process, but we are on our way soon. I have some things to clean up with the main software and the image board for the visuals page to make.
As a note to the collective: moving forward I decided to force a more specific aesthetic and feel going forward for the main pages. Pages like the love page have gotten unreadable imo and I deleted all the wiki pages because of this. From now on I will only allow contributions on main pages from people committed to the goal of minimal yet readable and stylized pages. Full creative control will be left to your member pages where you are free to experiment however you wish. It’s just with communal and main pages people different ideas and visions just become at odds with one another.
